Replied on April 9, 2013. Report abuse. Update the driver of your ethernet connection. You can find the driver in the website of your computer's manufacturer. You can also scan your computer with RadarSync to see which drivers are outdated. That way you can cover all problems in one shot.
Download the appropriate LAN driver to your laptop. Use flash drive to transfer LAN driver file to your computer. Go to device manager and find your Ethernet Device under Network Adapters. Click update drivers and then click Browse my computer for Drivers. Go to the uncompressed LAN driver file you just downloaded.

I changed out the Ethernet cable and the Roku Ultra connected with a wired connection. I don't understand how this solved the problem b/c the replaced Ethernet cable works fine in other places with other devices. But hey, replacing the cable solved the problem, so I won't complain. Thanks.

like i said in the post, no other port on the router works and i only have one port on the PC. You could back up the router config, reset it and see if it works after a fresh reset. If it does, load the backup back on to the router and look through the settings to see what's changed. Hmmm.
